As a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon, Dr. Jason Haslam, has completed advanced orthopaedic surgical training with a fellowship in upper extremity surgery including shoulder, elbow, wrist, and hand; as well as a Certificate of Added Qualification in Surgery of the Hand. A portion of his training included microsurgery, nerve, and vascular surgery. Dr. Haslam enjoys working in all areas of orthopedics so his practice scope and experience is broad. He is as comfortable and confident in performing surgical cases of complex joint reconstruction of the knees and hips as he is with intricate microsurgery repair of digital vessels and nerves.


Dr. Haslam’s extensive training and experience ensures his patients receive top-notch, comprehensive orthopaedic care. Dr. Haslam’s education includes a Mechanical Engineering degree from Brigham Young University, in Utah, his Medical Doctorate degree from Loma Linda University, in California, his Orthopaedic Surgery Residency at University of California Irvine, and Upper Extremity Fellowship at University of Rochester, in New York.


Dr. Haslam is married with three children. Although both Dr. Haslam and his wife are native Californians, they love living and raising their family in beautiful Middle Tennessee. In his spare time, Dr. Haslam enjoys snowboarding, windsurfing, dirt bike riding, wakeboarding, cycling and running. Activities which have caused his own orthopaedic injuries; such as, fractures of the scapula, clavicle, ribs, and a torn ACL. He also enjoys videography, photography, and building and flying RC airplanes.



Kristina Abolins is a nurse practitioner who joined OrthoGo in January 2018. She received her
Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Indiana University in 2004. She spent several years at Riley
Hospital for Children focusing her interests in surgical and orthopedic specialities. Kristina moved to Nashville in 2008 and began working in rheumatology at Vanderbilt Medical Center furthering her interest in bone and joint diseases. She later attended Belmont University and received her Master of Science in Nursing in 2014. Upon graduation, Kristina practiced in pain management prior to pursuing her career in orthopedics.


Kristina grew up in Michigan and New Jersey where her parents still reside. She is in a longterm relationship and has a very spoiled pug named Leia. Kristina enjoys exploring all the restaurants in Nashville, traveling, and attending concerts of all genres of music.



As a board-certified Physician Assistant with extensive orthopaedic experience, Lacie Baker was raised in Paris, TN and graduated from Henry County High School. She received her BS in Biology from Lipscomb University and later completed her MS in Physician Assistant Studies from Treveca University in 2008. Lacie was intrigued by orthopaedics and it became her practice focus in 2010.


In her free time, Lacie enjoys staying active by chasing her two little boys around. Additionally, she enjoys the outdoors, spending time with family and friends and traveling.


Born and raised in Dover/Clarksville, Tenn., Amanda is excited to serve her local community. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (2006) and Master of Science in Nursing (2012) from Austin Peay State University. Her love for orthopaedics began while working night-shifts as an RN on the ortho floor at Gateway Medical Center. After completing her family nurse practitioner program, she cared for patients at a local walk-in clinic before spending 3 years with an interventional pain management practice and pursuing orthopaedics.


Amanda enjoys attending local events with her husband and young son. She loves live music (especially bluegrass), trying new restaurants, cooking and traveling. She serves on both the Board and Planning Committee for the TN Nurse Practitioner Association’s annual state conference. She is excited to help patients achieve their orthopaedic goals and desired outcomes.


A native of Fort Walton Beach, Florida, Jeff Norton spent of his childhood and teenage years on the tennis courts hitting tennis balls and playing in junior league tennis tournaments. He attended college at the University of South Alabama and received a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science and a minor in Chemistry. In 2002, he completed a Masters in Physician Assistant studies.


He and his wife, Allison have four children and enjoys reading, playing classical guitar, running, and spending time with his family.


Carrie joined the OrthoGo team in October 2018 after relocating to Tennessee from Gallup, New Mexico. Originally from Columbus, Ohio, she attended Hilliard Davidson High School. She completed her undergraduate Degree in Athletic Training at Wright State University, where she was also a member of their first women’s track and field team.


Carrie earned her master’s in Physician Assistant Studies at Kettering College in Dayton, Ohio. She then began her Orthopaedic career in the Chicago, Illinois, area in 2010. She brings a unique level of experience, having treated patients in the big city and in rural New Mexico.


She enjoys hiking, biking, running and traveling with her husband and two boys.
